
Marvin Hale
President, CEO and Financial Planner
Prior to forming Hale Financial Planning Group, LLC, Marvin had over twenty-five years of experience in banking. As Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager, Marvin was responsible for the lending relationship of large complex accounts and supervision of the Springfield Banking Center. Born and raised on a dairy farm in Vermont, Marvin spent three years in the Army and graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Agricultural Economics. He later received his M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts and has attended various executive management programs, including the Harvard Agri-business Seminar. Marvin holds Health and Life Insurance License’s along with Series 6, 63, 66 and 7 Securities License’s. Marvin is a founding member of the Academy of Preferred Financial Advisors.
He was instrumental in helping to start Stony Brook Community Church in South Hadley, where he and his family attend and he serves as chairman of the ministry council. Marvin also serves as Board Chairman for the Pioneer Valley Christian School and is a member of the Hampden County Estate Planning Council and Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce.
Marvin and his wife, Sandra, have two children Jennifer, a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, and Benjamin, a graduate of Gordon College. He enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family at their log cabin, which he built on the family farm in Vermont.
